I'm running at stock boost levels and when I was driving today, it felt like I had no power, like something was holding me back. It still boosts fine, but it isn't making much power. any ideas?

Probably some type of turbo/exhaust leak due to a blown turbo gasket or manifold gasket

yes, I have a boost gauge, I'll check that for leaks, and I'll check the exhaust gaskets

It's not the boost gauge that you need to check for leaks, the boost gauge should indicate i fyou have a boost leak, by not showing as much boost as you were seeing. If that is the case, check the rest of the system for leaks.

The only exhaust gaskets that would lose you boost are the head to exhaust manifold, and exhaust manifold to turbo gaskets. Either of these should make a significant amount of noise and be obvious. Check all the IC piping, and boost and vaccum hoses etc. these are the most likely culprits.

My sr20det did the same **** today, sometimes when i would punch it it would hardly go as if there was a miss, or an injector unpluged. Come to find out i had a tiny boost leak. Alot of times these only show up after the car has been driven for a while and warmed up, then the rubber loosens up and leaks occur.
