Power Locks

alright... i got a problem with my S13's power looks. it seems to be not connected anymore between the 2 doors. usually if open from any side, then automatically the other one will also unlock right?,,, but as for my S13, it wont happen that way. mo matter wich side i use the key to open, the other lock will not respond. so is there one can give me guildence how to fix it... or advice...

Check the door lock timer, it's the relay that runs the locks. The 89-90 used a standard negative trigger system, and the timer is mounted in the passenger side kick panel. 91-94 used a single wire system, a little different. I'm sure it's also fused, but Nissan likes to use one fuse for several things, so that's probably not it. IIRC correctly the passenger side lock will lock the driver, but not unlock it, while driver side does both. Can't remember, don't have an S13.
