Power locks and speedometer issue!

The speedometer and power locks do not work on my 1991 Nissan 240sx. Is that just a replace the fuse job or is the speedometer like the tach usually is and in line with the distributor?

are you asking if the speedometer runs off the distributor? that answer would be no.. there is a speed sensor in the transmission. but i think you got your self an eletrical problem. i know there are some fusable links that will affect more than one system when they go bad..

oh.. btw.. power locks in an s13 are vacuume assisted.. they are not eletric..

the speedometer doesn't show up on my windshield anymore or in the dash. I just bought this car and i knew it had some issues that i have been slowly fixing but this wasn't one of them when i purchased the car. but thanks for the input

how would I fix the power locks if it isn't electric?

well as far as i know, s13 power locks are like i said "vacuume assisted"

if they dont work, more than likely have a vacuume leak in the power door lock system.. tell ya the truth though, i dont have power locks, and its really not that bad.. i only have 2 doors to worry bout..

Yea i have the digital speedo it worked when i first bought it and drove it home but the next morning it didn't at all. Also the problem with the power locks is that i can only lock my driver door the passenger door doesn't at all.
