Power lock problems

I purchased my 92 nissan pathfinder used about 4.5 years ago & during this time I have had problems with the locks in several different ways.

When you push the drivers side lock, all the locks are supposed to 'lock', but sometimes they turn back on, all by themselves. Sometimes it would happen when I would use the door switch too.

Mostly though, the most frustrating thing that happens is when I unlock the drivers side from the outside, when you turn the key twice, it is supposed to unlock all the doors, but sometimes that will just stop working completely for absolutely no reason, and for days, weeks or months even. The drivers side will lock/unlock with a key, but the 'power lock' will stop working with the other locks. When this happens I cannot unlock the passenger side at all with a key from the outside. When I'm trying to get my kids in the car it's a real PITA because I have to reach over & unlock all the doors, not easy when you have a 15 month old who is all hands & determination. After getting them out, I have to circle the car pushing all the locks down. Then, all of a sudden they will start working again, for a little while, but then all of a sudden they will stop working. Luckily the drivers side always unlocks & locks with my key. One small thing is the hatch will stay unlocked when this happens. I just only hope that people (theives) will figure if the rest of the car is locked, the hatch is too.

Well, I may have found a solution to my own poblem.
