power lock issue

so i'm having a problem with my power locks on my 98 qx4, by problem i mean they don't work at all. about a year ago i had to get the transmission rebuilt on it and when i got it back i noticed my head lights only worked on high beam (replaced bulbs and they're fine now) my left headlights on and left key in alarms didn't work and my power locks don't work. well i'm assuming something got fried while they were working on the car but i took it back to them and (of course) they said all the relays and what not looked fine. so being a computer nerd but pretty ignorant about cars i thought you guys might point me in the right direction for troubleshooting my locks.any advice is very much appreciated. thanks
