Power Lock Issue 1994 Infiniti J30

I have 94 Infiniti J30, I got power lock problems a few months ago, and they are still there. I just want to know what does it sound like.... The car started locking itself on me while I was trying to unlock from the outside (this is driver's door). I got the front passenger open and went through and sat at the driver seat, turn on the car and roll down the window so I can keep on trying to open the door. Pulling and Pulling the lock manually and with the key outside, I got to open, but now the power switch will not lock or unlock the button, and if I lock manually the lock, the same problem will happen again. For this reason, I have now my driver's door lock always unlocked (very insecure).. What does this sound like? Have I broken the latch or is it actuator bad? Can I anybody help me?
