Hello all!,
Recently I've come across a issue that im stumped by. When going to start the car the steering column would move down a couple inches with the comfort access turned on and then the car completely dies. There will be no power any where, doors, windows, nothing. But as soon as I put my booster pack on it, it starts right up. At first I thought maybe the battery, however overnight it would start fine and sometimes just having it off for 5 minutes to go in the bank it would happen again.
I've replaced the key battery so now im trying my other fob also with fresh batteries.
Does anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks in advance,
Mike

I'd still suspect the battery as the source of your issue. A bad cell presents itself in weird ways.

First step, replace your battery. If it continues, then I'd suspect a loose/chaffed wire grounding out somewhere.

Yes indeed turns out it was the Battery. Got a optima and never happened since. Thanks for the help.

It never ceases to amaze me the tricks our cars do when the battery isn't 100%.
