power/fuel cut at 3000rpm/1st gear

when i start off in 1st gear and stomp on the gas, the car does great until about 3-4000 rpm, then it shakes violently and it feels like someone is pulling the e-brake on me, cause it makes me fly forward. if i keep my foot on the gas, it shakes so bad, its like i stuck a cork in my exhaust. any sugg???

does it do the same in every gear?

did you figure this one out? is your mass airflow sensor plugged in? if so, i bet its crap.
