yup they work, seen them on an M here in the states.

I also seen the one with the camera on both sides.

Both cost big bucks :frown:

I can't work out why Infiniti/Nissan had this on cheaper cars and couldn't be bothered to include my model year M. I can't justify the expense and time of adding it on so I close mine manually for the following reason:
I have twice come back to my car in a mall car-park only to find that a fat shopper, waddling between cars with a huge belly has hit my mirror and turned it outwards so the mirror faced the car next to me. It pops right back into place.
So ....... whenever I'm in a car-park, I manually turn both mirrors INward. If an orca-sized shopper tries to fit between cars, his/her blubber glides over the mirror instead of mashing into it. Luckily, since the only clothing available for a mammal this huge is stretchable polyesther so they don't scratch your paint, LOL.

Damn, what did obese people do to you lol.

Yeah, that upgrade is about $400-$500 dollars. I was actually thinking of making one myself with a couple of motors/actuators...maybe costing $200-$300. But the urge passed in about two weeks. I just don't understand that camera, and then for whatever reason its there, why it isn't on the other side.

I suppose Japanese and European markets have more need for them as parking on the street and in garages is much tighter than it is here especially with all the micro cars

I thought the micro-cars should be a solution, not the problem.
