My 2010 QX56 has the power folding mirrors, they are only powered with the key in the run position, anyway I can tap into the power lock switch hot lead and power the folding switch so it's hot all the time, I did try the one lead, but it back feed the other accessories, even though I cut and isolated the one wire, I must of had the wrong wire, any help would be appreciated.

I know this does not answer your questions, but why do you want to be able to operate them all the time. Probably not worth the effort and it could affect your warranty if you have an issue related to the mirrors.

You could place a diode in-line. Diode's only flow current in one direction so with the correct orientation, it should allow power to the mirrors without powering other accessories. I did this so I can manually control my rear view camera without activating my back-up lights.
