Okay.. here we go. I'm working on a unique car for a customer. Redtop rwd SR head, engine harness and 62 ecu. Also using a Q45 tb and was using a Q45 maf, until I swapped in the stock maf for trouble shooting. Car will start and run fine on the 62. Plug in the new Power FC (SR2014) and Commander (FCC3) and there is no life on the Commander and the car just cranks and never catches. Also no fuel pump signal with the PFC installed.

This is frustrating us here and we have brainstormed ourselves til our brains hurt. Any of the PFC gurus have any any input on whether or not the PFC may have a failsafe in it..maybe a voltage signal or something it checks for that the stock ECU does not?

Here's the kicker. This motor is a hybrid. Utilizes a rwd SR head, CAS and coilpacks on a P10 Primera fwd block. HKS 256 cams and gears, greddy springs, arias pistons and crower rods. Running the stock SR370s right now for trouble shooting as there is no turbo (yet). All this is installed in a '96 Sentra 4 dr.

This is the 3rd PFC we have tried in the car, the previous 2 were used.. the first was fried when the owner of the car tried to wire the harness himself, the second was the wrong generation..also used, and this one is brand spankin new PFC and Commander.

Any input is appreciated but please try to stay on topic.

Thanks

You might want to check with APEX-i with their troubleshooting department. I've never heard of that problem personally though. Good luck.
