well... i installed my power fc some time ago and i had problems with it loosing power and loosing TPS voltage i would grab the ecu harness and the commander would light back up just fine or the tps signal would come back. Now I have no power at all to the commander, the engine does not run the fuel pump does not turn on. NO power to ecu. it just quit on the side of the road, if i hook up a stock ecu it works fine... bad harness block?

sounds like you've already narrowed it down to a connection issue. keep at it with a multimeter.

i'm not familiar with power fcs, but does it have its own fuse inside the unit? does it need any additional grounds beyond the stock grounding for the ecu?

nope hooks up factory, you cant open the case, there is a little plastic clip inside that snaps to the lid and if you break it, it voids the warrenty... so i doubt it has a fuse.. i think the wiring harness is bad... is this a common thing?

if the harness is bad, then how can the stock ECU work fine? A bad harness causing the power FC to die on you would also cause the stock ECU to die.
