okay, so to start let me begin with my setup: Blacktop s13 sr20det (non type x), Greddy front mount setup,blitz dd blow off,stock t25 (stock boost),stock 370 injectors,power fc (type x blacktop s13).
Okay, with that outta the way, whats going on is a problem with running rich. Ive had the power fc for about 6months. when i first got the power fc, i had noticed that unfortunately no one had told me there were different parts according to the type x blacktop and the earlier one. so i ordered the one for the type x which was very dumb. we found this out after pluggin it up and the car runnin like s*** and never learning the setup base map. luckily, i found the pinout diagrams and took a map of the changes to a shop and had them do the pinout. after this the car ran great.
however, after about 1mth later, the car started runnin like s*** again. i would pull up to work and (1), peeps would be like they could smell my car a mile away. (2), I will be at idle, and the car is smoking lightly. Also, the exhaust is misting oil and if i jack the front up and rev, i get oil spraying on the ground. (3), I would get in the car and hit the throttle slightly and the car bogs down like its missing. i check the plugs and they are fouled.
Next i take it to the shop and they rule out that its not the blow off valve (atmospheric usually tends to run rich, but not enough to cause smoke or foul plugs). They do boost leak test, and no leaks found. They check the maf and say that my wires were a little bent but they fixed them and dont think thats the problem. They say they suggest a hotter plug (i was using bkr7 and they suggest 6's).
After the change, the car runs very smooth, and everything seems great. However, after about a month, the same thing happens. the plugs keep fouling!!! So i change them again. this keeps happening. every month i have to change plugs. The injectors are set to 100percent but if i go lower the car acts as if its running lean.
also, the shop says that the reason i am getting smoke at idle and oil from exhaust, is because of the seals in the turbo going bad. however, this wouldnt be the reason that the plugs are fouling i dont believe.
CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!! I have so many other things to get done and this is holding me up, for i dont want to spend money on parts, and have to sell to get the car fixed. Thank you for support.
