i resently bought a power fc for my redtop sr. when i plug it in,it dosent turn on. but my stock ecu does when thats pluged in. so i did some searching and found that fc need the main ecu power to work and stock ecus only need the back up power. so i cheacked and have no main ecu power. so asfter more searching i found that my egi relay dosent trip and thats what give the ecu it power. 3 of the 4 wires dor the relay have power. i greound the eccr wire( red and black wire off pin 4) the fc turns on and i can start my car but itll never shut off. could it be a short somewhere? arn't relays supose to ground somewhere? is the red and black wire supose to ground threw the ecu.im lost and need some help

If you plug in your regular ECU and works but doesn't when you plug in your Power FC, there is definitely something wrong with your wiring. Here is an FAQ for the PowerFC.
