Power fc knock question.

Well i have a s14 sr20det with the power fc. when i give it more than 75% throttle in 1st and 2nd its fine and dosnt knock but in third on after the 75% throttle it shows a reading of anywhere from 95-125 knock. Now I know that the apexi s-afc2 knock sensor function is a joke, but how is it on the pfc since it is a stand alone?? There is no audible knock noise comming from the engine and i was just wondering if i should fix this quick or its another common problem with the apexi units.Thanks-Jon

My friend had the same problem with his power FC on his 96 s14 sr20det.

I called Apexi and gave them the model number and when they looked it up he had a early version and they told me to just disable the knock function because it is unreliable in the older models.

thats what i figured,because when we were on the dyno the a/f was good and there was no knock until i started driving it on the streets. Thanks for your imput.Has anybody else had a similar problem with the apexi units? besides the safc2?
