I'm Having some problems deciding what type of Power FC i should buy, because when i got the engine it came with an ECU I dont remember what ECU because the ECU was stolen from me last year when I took it off to send to enthalpy for a tune along with my Toyota 4Runner.

So my questions are :

Do I buy a red top PFC I found at a great deal " used "?

will the commander work with the engine I have if its for a red top and I buy a red top PFC ?

I'm also doing a wire tuck but without cutting too many things, I'm extending the headlights/flashers/ CAS/ MAF/ a few other things but soldering them properly and heat shrinking etc...

Do I have an Early Black Top SR20 Engine or later gen 1996.5 and up?

Any other possible things that can cause the problems.. ?

I have a GT2860RS Real Garrett turbo with Z32 MAF

Should I buy a new unit for my blacktop with L-Jetro?

Should I buy a new unit for my blacktop with D-Jetro? What are the advantages of going MAF-Less? I know if I pop a coupling I'll make it home...

Does the D-Jetro give idling issues and use more fuel? Is it older technology?

My Current Seup with the motor etc...:

Engine : Black Top S13 SR20DETThis is genuinly one of the cleanest SR black tops you will find. Its running in Mint condition. This motor has always been babied. Mobile 1 5-50 full Synthetic-Clutch is a Exedy Stage 1 less than 100kms on it.( My Weakest link along with my stock head gasket I assume.
