Hey guys, I am having a huge issue with the Power FC D Jetro I just bought. I was hoping some of the more experienced members on this site could help me out.

I went to install the PFC on my USDM convertible with a swapped redtop sr and completely failed. The car cranks but will not turn over. Also, the commander is not turning on. This is just a plug and play ECU so I was confused. I plugged the stock ECU back into the car and it started up fine.

I decided to try the PFC in my JDM Silvia which also has a factory installed redtop sr. I bolted it in and it works perfectly; commander turns on and everything.

The part number for my PFC is SR2014 so it should be the correct one.

The Silvia uses a 62 ECU. The vert originally used a 62 ECU but a few months ago, the MAFS wire shorted on the exhaust manifold and burnt the stock ECU. I replaced it with a E5 ECU from a blacktop but didn't change the wiring harness.

Does anyone know what is wrong?

does the 62 ecu work in the swapped car?

If the 62 works, the pfc should work, especially since you say you tried it where a 62 was.
