One is a map sensor and the other one is a air temp sensor. You can put them both in the manifold.

quick question having the map instead of maf. how is that on a daily driver? does it burn more gas than having the maf?

Ask a Honda driver. It works great, you just have to take the time to set up the temperature correction maps. Maf systems are pretty much self compensating for density changes.

As far as where to put the sensors, it looks like the map can just t off of a vac line off the manifold. I cna't really see how the iat sensor mounts but it's probably easiest to put it on your cold pipe somewhere.

MAP sensors are FTW! You don't have to deal with some of the crap that MAF's give you like issue with the sensor being old or being faulty as many SR imported are. I own a Honda and when I went to MAF when I got my 240 it was more work then the MAP.

There should be a start up program that is good enough to get you to a tuner, but you need to go ahead and get it tuned. Paying now and getting it done will mean that you will have a sturdy car until you are ready for the upgrades and then the tune will be easier.

I always call safe over sorry, but there should be a base tune on your car already.
