Power Door Locks Only Work from one side

When i open the door either from the outside by key or from the inside by moving the Lock unlock pin only the drive side opens. but if i open by key from the Passengers side or from inside on passangers side both sides lock and unlock, What could the Problem me.

Also the Passenger side window switch on the passsanger side moves the passenger side window down but if i want to bring it back up i have to lock from the passanger side

the locks sound normal, maybe...on the S130's and Z31's this is the way they made them, only the drivers door got the motor, I guess they figure if you have a guest you unlock their door first? I seem to recall hearing that early Z32's had it this way and added the passanger side later? anyone else want to chime in? SilverTwin will know for sure

you sure u read it right buddy it doenst sound like they made it like this ? For some reason if u open the Door from the DRIVERS side with a key ONLY that door opens if u Open it from the PASSANAGERS side with a key BOTH sides Open

yes, thats the way they did it on the Z31 and S130, you can unlock just the drivers door with the key in the drivers door, but if you unlock the passanger door with the key it unlocks both sides, kinda wierd but thats the way they did it, I think the idea si that if you are on a date, and you open the key for your gues, it automatically unlocks your door so that your guest doesn't have to lean over and unlock for you, and when you open only your drivers door with the key, a crazy person standing on the passanger side can't junm in the passanger seat and start singing celine dion songs to you, like I said this was the way for the previous models of Z not sure on the Z32, my Z32 locks don't do anything and it's not bothered me enough to try tracking down why
