Well, I don't have an FSM, and the Chilton's manual doesn't have @&#! for wiring diagrams, maybe someone can help me out.

Are the power door locks supposed to only lock from the driver's side and unlock from the passenger's side?

This is sooo annoying. Does anyone know where the wires are that control the system, so that I can rewire the locks to make them always work. If anyone has the wiring diagram for the power door locks from the FSM and you could e-mail it to me, that would be swell.

My e-mail address is [email protected]

It's called driver's priority door lock system, meaning ur driver's door locks AND unlock both doors.

Yeah, but that's not what my car does. My driver's door will lock both doors, but will not unlock them. My passenger's door will unlock both doors, but will not lock them. I want both doors to be able to lock and unlock.

That sounds pretty weird. You might want to check your wires. The person who had my car before me ripped out the alarm before selling it and i could only lock the doors with the power switch, couldn't use it to unlock. Check for cut or dandling wires in the driver side kick panel

I have a '91 se and the driver's priority locks will unlock the driver's door from the passenger's side so when you open the door for your date you don't have to unlock your door as well.I think that if Nissan was going that far with the locking system, an extra nickel worth of wire wouldn't hurt anyone so I may lock my doors from the passengers side!
