Well guys today was the big day where I turn over the SR to see if she runs. After swapping the fuel lines to their right spots the engine fired right up! After letting it run for a while I took the car down the block (w/no exhaust) and noticed that my powere breaks do not work. The breaks work but not well and the pedal feels very stiff. Can some one give me a little tip. Thanks again. :pface

Sounds like the brake booster is either not hooked up, or hooked up in the wrong spot(if that is possible?) You sure you didn't block off the brake booster hookup on the intake manifold?

Yup, that sounds like your brake booster is either clogged or not hooked up. Have fun, it's not easy getting the hose on and clamped down with the engine in. You'll have to a screwdriver or a pair of needlenose pliers throught the 3rd and 4th runners.

now that I think about it I think the break booster line has a 1 way valve in it and I may have put it in backwards.... I'll have to check it tomorrow

1 more thing... Is timing usually something that needs to be adjusted with most SR swaps or is it fine if I haven't touched it?

You should definetely check it! Takes all of 2 minutes and because of the importance of having it right it is well worth it. I believe the instructions are at HT website.

The instructions on the site are really bad. If someone could post the instructions from the manual, it would help. I would but my computer is having a brainfart and cant open the ADOBE.

Seems like your swap is coming along well after all the trouble. Once the brake booster is connected properly, you are good to go!
