I'm thinking about putting a power brace for front subframe. I have SPL t/c rod there which has been great. Hope things would get better.

Now, I see Nismo power brace is basically the stock tension rod brocket which Kazama and Nukabe makes adjoustable power brace (http://www.napsusa.com/cgi-bin/napsusa/ ... d=2SYc88RD).

My question is will adjoustable one provide as much rigidity as Nismo one or even more? Which would you recommand?

what the hell is nukabe. that tension rod brace is a cusco piece. Cusco. kazama is identical to the nismo one except it has red paint instead of blue. the nismo piece is better because it is not "adjustable". adjustability on a brace is a way of saying "our brace is multiple pieces and sucks".

Thanks for the advice. I will look for nismo. How about... do you think it is ok to get a used one?

stop calling it Nukabe Automotive power brace. they dont make anything. that bar is CUSCO. that part is a CUSCO RADIUS ROD.

yes buying a used one will be fine, unless its like bent in half. pretty much everything on my car is used. its a good way to save cash.

Yeah man, that is definitely a cusco brace. Napsusa is just a company selling it. You could also refer to our oh so highly regarded, award winning thread titled "Anyone ever made their own Nismo Power Brace?". There, you'll find that you can make your own brace out of left over appliances and bed frames for about $20.

Thats kind of what I was thinking, because where the TR's bolt onto the frame of the car is really thick/stiff.
