Power balance test: can you do this at home?

I want a way to do this at home.

Easy, have someone in the car watching your rpm and/or vacumme if you have a boost gage. Individually disconnect an injector and watch the rpm and vacumme pull. If one cylinder has a lot less rpm drop or vacumme change then that indicates a weak cylinder. I don't believe the nissan ecu's have a built in power balance routine like ford.

IMO, it would be easier to just do a compression/leakdown test. Your gonna have to do it anyway to confirm what the power balance test might tell you.

The Snap-On scan tool called the "brick" will let you do power balance tests. I know i was suprised 2
