Power Antenna Wire Color/Color on Harness Help?

Hey guys,

Got another question. So I noticed that my power antenna does not go up and down. I have the Kenwood XXV-01D



The power antenna with the 2 prong outs is plugged into a universal diversity adapter (shown below)



But Im still not getting power to the antenna. I checked behind the back panel where the antenna resides. I see there is a ground lead, and the antenna is connected, still no power.

What color is it on the harness? I checked the guide on twin turbo.net that everyone refers to, But the harness has been cut behind the radio. I got power to the radio and rewired the front 2 speakers for now, but I would like to see if the power antenna works at all. Anyone know what color it is on the harness?

IM also having trouble understanding the diagram in terms of where it is and what color it is.



Also having trouble with the radio keeping memory. I have the red and yellow wire connected to get power, but everytime i shut the car off, it doesnt retain memory. Is there another method of hooking this up and what wires do I hook my deck up to?

if you buy the wiring adapter harness it's labled and you hook it to the remote or power antenna out from the stereo harness, do not chop up your factory harness!

The harness is already chopped up, not by me, by previous or past owners.

Whoever did the wiring did a mickey mouse job. Haha, quite honestly i hope they never get their hands on a Z ever again.

So i see the back where the antenna sits, there is a wire that connects to the power antenna, but on the harness itself where the radio sits, I just need to know what color wire corresponds to it.

If your radio is a 4 speaker audio system, the 12 volts signal for the power antenna is the RED/BLK.

If it's the 5 speaker audio system you'll need the BLK/RED
