power antenna

My mast has snapped off half way up. I have ordered a new mast from "Auto Parts People". Does any have any advice on swapping this out?

Try a search in Infiniti General. It has been discussed before.

All you have to do is take out the right side trunk panel to access the antenna assembly. Pull off the drain hose. I believe you have to use a 10mm wrench to get the antenna assembly out of the vehicle. Take apart the assembly with a screwdriver after you get it out of the car. After you take it apart, take out the old mast and replace it with the new one. Re-assemble it and make sure to reconnect the drain hose when you put it back in the car. It is not a hard procedure, but the inside of the assembly is somewhat greasy and messy. Good luck!
