Power antenna Problem

Has anyone had trouble with the power antenna not wpoking correctly ? Mines has been fine and now it ill only travel 1 1/2 " at each on and off. I took it out and tried with power stright from battery and would work, I checked my voltage leaving radio and all is good. Is there a relay somewhere between the radio and the antenna ?

In the winter the power antenna mechanism can get dry and not be able to completly go up and down. I've had that happen. Soaking the antenna with a non freezing super lubricant like Liquid Wrench, Krown T40 or Jig-a-loo will help immensely.

I do not see any relays in the diagram, check the power from the back of the radio and the joint connections
also check the grounds.

Do you have voltage to the antenna connector?

Also as Driver said you have to keep it all clean.

All clean , took it apart cleaned out old grease , put new grease on , have power yo connector at antenna , checked power at radio back , checked all grounds at the battery to the chassie and block ... ????

How about the grounds in the Trunk 9 and 31 in the above dwg
