from what i can remember, the antenna worked when i first had the car, and if i remember right it has two sections that telescope out from the base. currently the first section raises but the second (skinnier) section doesnt? has anyone else had this problem? can i fix it or should i bring it in to the shop?

That happened to my car before. I just pulled it up a couple times and then it started working again. But the 95 may be different than the 93. I think the 95 has more than 2 sectioms.

i have the same problem on my 90...all i did was pull really hard after lubing it up with 3 in 1 oil, silicon lubricant, and WD40. when i finally got one of the sections up, a bunch of crud ran out from where the sections meet up. It took me about 20 minutes but i finally got enough of it cleaned out and lubed up so it would operate regularly. Hope that helps. Oh, and it only comes up when you have the tuner on, not for CD's...

I have an antennae problem too, but it has been consistently goin on since I purchased the car in April 2002.

When the antennae goes up, it goes up all the way, and then starts making a grinding sound for about 15 seconds. Really annoying. Do i need to grease it or something? Or do i have to replace the antennae?

the mast can be replaced in the ant motor. the easiest way to solve this problem is to remove the power ant assembly from the car . start by taking the ant nut off where the mast comes out. turn the radio on while someone is helping guide the mast out of the motor keep pulling up on the ant till the cable comes all the way out. then remove the motor assembly from the car lay it flat ,remove the cover screws ..while being careful not to lose any small parts lift the cover off watch for a small washer in the center of the wheel lift the wheel of and inspect for broken pieces of mast. remove any broken plastic gear peices. reassemble the motor install it. feed the cable in have someone turn the radio off while you feed the cable rotate it pokeing it in till the motor grabs it just keep feeding till it stops insert the nut and tighten. cycle the radio on then off and antenna should pull full in turn radio on and ant should go to full extension
