Power Antenna on S14a?

Did nissan change from a power antenna to a fixed one going from the S14 to the S14a? I think I read this somewhere but am not sure. My S14a has a fixed antenna, and my friends S14 has a power one, but his also has more options like leather, keyless entry, etc. Does anyone know if it is possible to install the factory power antenna from the S14 into an S14a?

They ditched the power antenna for our S14s for the 96 and on models.

if my power antenna wasn't so God awful slow, i would like it alot more. i mean when the radio is turned off and the antenna is down, it looks really sweet. i wouldn't want an antenna there ALL the time.

I might try to install a power antenna from an S14 into my S14a.

i thought about finding another power antenna on ebay or somewhere and swaping them out. maybe it would be faster than mine. i need to get inside there and lubricate it actually, it squeaks a little bit sometimes.
