power antenna issues

Hey everyone. I've already searched, and nothing really answers my question. My radio is all fubar, and when I turn it on it's usually just static, unless I'm somewhere downtown. I've noticed that the power antenna doesn't come up, and it's all messed up on the outside. how do you replace this? Would it most likely just be the motor? Thanks

well first you have to figure out if its the motor of the telescoping antenna. if its the antenna its easy to replace if its the motor, its still easy to do just a little more expensive
