I ordered a set of new wheels waaaay back in November and I'm finally picking them up this Tuesday. Now I've got to slang my stock ones. My question is will they be more appealing if I powdercoat them glossy black, which I can get done for almost free, or will they be more desirable stock silver? They're 16x7's and all 5 are in mint condition. Here's a pic an extremely dirty one.

I vote for stock sliver. While I would like to see how they look black, I think it would be much easier to sell them as the stock silver.

OR you could post it up for sale as stock silver and use the powder coat as a sell point if they lean towards no. So clean the wheels, see if anyone wants it, if someone's intrested but not really flying, give them the option where you can get them powder coated :o

How much did you get for em? Were you able to sell all 5 to one person? How did you sell them?

Thanks brutha! BTW I'll be ready for Anza Borrega in about a month. New rims today, new tires next week.

I recently picked up a set of wheels like yours--in excellent condition with worn tires--for $180 via Craigslist Chicago.

You're welcome. Yeah, I was considering refinishing my PF wheels but, obviously, this was cheaper. Unfortunately, it appears to be a buyers' market on these things
