Powder coating

i was just thinking, when i pull my motor and build it i was going to hi-temp paint like AZ-Hitman did with his motor, but could i just powder coat it instead? i mean i don't know of any problem it would cause as long as you kept the coating off the areas that didn't need it. I just havent' ever seen anyone do it is all and i wanted to know if there was a reason

i have seen high temp powdercoating around so i dont see why not.i am replacing my head gasket right now and i plan on powdercoating my intake manifold and valve cover.
