WASSSSSSUUUPPPPPP

I got a question :naughty:

Does my butt look big in these jeans?

Also, I'm thinking of powder coating my wheels. The shop said 50-100 for the paint to cover all 4 which will be the infiniti color blk. They also said, $100 a wheel. Now, How much does paint weigh? They said 1 coat of powder coating, 1 clear, and 1 blk paint. The guy at the shop said less then 2lbs per wheel, which I believe it right. They will also strip the wheels before applying the paint, which will reduce the weight also. If there is any nicks in the wheel, they will touch that up.

Now this is a pretty pricey car - Do you think I should, or should I leave the sport rims the same color? Basically I seen another G37 coupe sport with blackened wheels and OH MAN OH MAN DID MY PANTS GET TIGHT. I think it'll look good, and wanted some opinions and some questions asked.

I like to keep my cars as close to factory spec as possible, for the most handling and performance gains, camber, toe, etc. Should I powder coat my wheels based on that?

Also, I plan to trade the car in on a 2006+ C6 Z06 LS7 Vette in 11 months. Think this would be good to change now? Or should I just wait.

Imma get a blk on blk vette, and screw the wheels, i will be doing this too much :shifter:

Do not powder coat your wheels, the elevated temperatures required to bake the powder coat could weaken the alloy to a point at which a crack could cause a catastrophic failure. Wheel maunfactures paint or annodize the finishes onto their wheels requiring a much lower temperature. Also thery should not need clear for a powdercoat finish, just paint them, its easier and you wont notice a difference, weight should be negligible.

If your not keeping the car for more than a few more months, why alter it to possibly lower the price (your taste isnt the same as everyone elses, and a dealer might look at it as a "modification" that could potentially lower resale). I would just leave it as is, why spend $500 on a car your not keeping?
