Powder coat forged wheels

I have a set of Altima Se-r wheels with curb rash. I want to know if I can powder coat them or not. Idk what the material of the wheels are. If no then ill just paint them.. Help

yes you can have them powdercoated.

Alright good because I these wheels are aluminum and aluminum cracks under high heat . Alot don't recommend powder coating aluminum wheels but if these are okay then ill be doing them this weekend..

You can powdercoat them , it will never get hot enough to crack . If they crack , it s either cracked already or find another place to do the job , because they don t know how to powdercoat stuff .

I was worried about that too. Remember if you plan on using bondo to fill the rash it won't make it though the process.

Well true , it would be better to weld & then rectify it on a lathe as the specialized places do .
