That is so carbon fiber it isn't even funny!

I'm really excited about this. It makes my pants happy.

I hope the never break a suspension arm or nose cone assembly. Talk about a car that is impossible to get parts for!

I would mount it on my wall and call it a day.

Yeah really, don't ever crash that thing! Would be awesome to own, especially for the price they paid. What a great deal. I'd try and drive it on the street. Haha.

Umm, these things are 25mm or less from the ground. You wouldn't last one city block. :rotfl

Depends on your area of course, but these cars do drive on road courses, too (Monaco, Singapore, etc.)

An non-flush drain cover ruined Ruben's race last year too at Monaco where he classically threw his five figure steering wheel onto the track where it was collected by another car. You're pretty much only given one shot at ruining these cars, because about 98% of the vehicle is unrepairable w/out a massive amount of money and access to the build schematics and access to a fabricator.

@RCA: That was a 2008 Earth Honda of BAR F1. The 2007 was much more hideous and worthy of the teams nickname, BARF-1.

While this is quite a nifty venture, there are several problems that present itself. The car is meant to be driven at breakneck speeds. They'll need to find some tires that fit the car and can heat up very quickly, as nobody aside from a very well trained racer will be able to get and keep proper heat in those Bridgestones (they're also several years old and are more fit for decoration than driving right now). Brakes are also another massive problem, as they need breakneck speeds to keep the heat in them too. The motor and such is one piece, keeping it on the track w/out an incident because of lack of operating temps is a much bigger problem.

You won't be thinking that after you break that expensive nose.

Damn, that is one epic build.
