Potential power boost for '06?

I've been thinking lately. It hurts. Anyhow...this is what I was thinking, tell me what you think.

The 350Z gets an anniversary edition in 2005. It'll be making the same 298 hp as the G35. The M35 will come out. It'll also be making that 298 hp.

With these cars making power that high, I was thinking that perhaps we can expect a power increase in the Maxima for the '06 model. Perhaps something like 280, but perhaps as high as the 298 of the others. I also think that since Honda now has the 270 hp TL AND the 300 hp RL, Nissan needs to step it up a little. All of this, to me, is very good reason for a power increase in the Maxima.

I think the Max should be a RWD sedan with the 4.5L motor. At least, it should be configured similar to the M45 with the VG35 and AWD option.

Same here. It SHOULD be RWD.

But for TL/RL compettion, I say Altima. But then It'll be steppin on the Maxima's toes.

IDK. Oh well. Whatever happens, happens.
