Possibly removing wheel paint???

I was thinking about painting my factory wheels, but then i thought to myself "self, why dont you strip the paint off of those wheels and polish the aluminum under there?"

Has anyone else tried this before?

I have ordered new tires for these and will keep them instead of getting a bigger rim size. I already put 1.5" spacers/adapters on. It looks nice.

Can you post pics of how the spacers made it look? I kind of want a wider stance in addition to the improved handling.

The handling is better, for sure. I had the 2" lift put on it a couple months ago, and just put the spacers on and it handles wayyyyy better again. I have the wheels off and will be getting my tires on Wednesday. I'll post the final pics then with the lift, tires and painted wheels.

Where'd you get the spacers? They would be the same for the 16" SEs right? Cost? I might do that, I've always wanted a wider stance without buying beeeeeeeeefy tires.
