i was drivin home from school today and first i saw that my temperature gauge was almost all the way up on hot then i say smoke coming from my drivers side head light, i pulled over and popped the hood to see that my cap was off my coolant fill up jug and it had splashed all over my engine on that side and i heard this whistling sound and i look down from the pipe where you pour the antifreeze in the radiator , like right to the left past the little silver cap that says do not open when hot, on the little plastic tube, and there was a crack in it where air was seeping out and making a whistilng sound and anti freeze was coming out to..is there anything i can do to plug the hole up or what do i do now,i guess first i need to get some more coolant back into my car since its almost all out but what aobut the seeping out of the little carck thats about 1/2 an inch long ....please help

i've got a picture but i cant figure out how the hell to put it on here, i did it with paint so its on the paint thing but i cant put it on here, if you cant understand what im asking tehn maybe sumone could tell me how to post a picture then i could show you, thanks in advance

You should be able to find a cheap replacement hose at either the auto parts store or maybe one from a refrigerator at home depot.

You will still need to figure out why the car overheated though.

i guess the reason why the car over heated was b/c all the coolant was out, but i went and got a new cap for my coolant jug and filled it back up with sum brand new coolant and its runnin fine now with teh exception of the crack in the tube...
