I have been ka24det for a while. I have been down since last july and having more serious problems! I have 3 engnes in my carport and the one in my car will not fire. I am gonna do Another compression test tomarrow and if it says no good I am selling my kat parts and getting a r32 front clip!!!! I got a buddy that threw one in his s13 and it is nice. I love that RB sound and I almost have my mind made up!! I have been reading the sticky's to prevent any dumb ????'s that I might have. This is just a little intro for me!

Then what? Mods cost more money than SR mods. Just because it's cheap to get your foot into the door dosen't mean it's cheap for mods. Trust me on this.

look at Yellow's setup...call R.I.P.S. to price a RB20 intake manifold, you'll see why.

Other than having a dedicated bank account for these feat good luck

right now I have 2600! I should be getting 500 more soon. I priced a rb20 swap complete its 1600 shipped. I am figuring another 150 for timing belt. Another 100 for water pump. 250-300 for my wiring. another 150 for all replacement belts. I should have money in reserve for when SOMTHING pops up like it always does! My other buddy is begging me to go rb25, but the 20 seems so much an easier process!

well your pricing on the motor isnt bad at all, but 150 for belts is a bit much and if you do your homework you can get a timing belt and bearings for much less.as for wiring it depends on who you send it to...

I hate it when I under shoot my prices and dont have enough money. I would rather over price and have money for the 1st tank of gas! I am pretty much basing prices off of enjuku! I bet they are a little high

Well if you can find an engine set thru J-HOT do it! I paid 1400 shipped! Moving on, shopping around for the best deal is key, and moddifying what you can to work it yourself is also great. Just buying what you see is miserable ordeal, I've spent a solid 4-500 already that I didn't need to. RB's are the expensive choice for an S-chassis no way around it. However, you can't beat that sound, with a straight pipe Buddy Club it's pure sex. Anyhow g-luck mate, have fun with it!
