possible valve seal problem? ?? help me please!

we have 2 1991 240sx's and both of them smoke some on starts (from a stop light. or stop sign) and i have heard it could b the valve seals letting in some oil, then that oil burns up : causing the smoke. so what is the prob, and what can i do to fix it.

this has been over a trillion time, man search!First we need to know what color is the smoke? here is another guide on it white is coolant black is gas blue is oilMy cars smoked at stops too,or idle to go conditions. It was white smoke= head gasket.
