ok i went to smog and failed for high co so to fix the problem i changed the old o2 sensor and heard a vacuum leak sound so i replaced old cracked canister purge vacuum line.after i did that i was still hearing the leak hiss. followed the purge line back to the vacuum solenoids on the back of the engine and foud a broken soleniod and several bad vacuum lines. replaced those and the solenoid with one off of another engine. after all that i still hear the hiss. it goes away when i pinch off the purge line or if i remove the small solenoid vacuum line. am i looking at a bad canister or faulty purge cotrol valve. also is it possible that this whole problem be why i have a high co count. any and all suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Get starter fluid, spray it, when the idle changes that's where the leak is.

You hear it hiss when you unplug the vacuum hose from the solenoid? Which one are you unplugging? Where does that line you unplug lead or T into?
