My CL ad

*CLEAN TITLE*

I have a 5spd 90 240sx Coupe with a KA24DE *swapped from SOHC* Silvia Front *missing front bumper tho* Lowered on Stance coils, have powered by max subframe collars, and front strut bar and rear brace. Currently running dual exhaust cams have intake cam just swap and it'll pass smog. Runs excellent idles @ 600rpms solid, no issues with starting, all electricals works fine, besides the front bumper not being included the front turn signals are also missing. I have the stock intake cam and smog peices to go along with it.

These are the wheels I have on the car I also have bolt on wheel spacers in the rear and they sit nice and flush
http://sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak- ... 9912_n.jpg

The car currently has a welded differential installed but It will come with a VLSD that is the correct bolt pattern to directly go in .

It also will some with the side skirts pictured in the photo.

I also have a pair of 350z seats for the car. The driver seat bolts up but the brackets were poorly made by the previous owner and the seat will not slide forward or back. I'm 6' tall and I drive it just fine how it is, I removed the brackets from the pass seat and was planning to have a friend make custom brackets for both seats but he is out of the country often and I was always out of $ or he was very busy so the brackets never got made.

Heres a pic of the front strut bar I have on the car it nice and beefy but aluminum so lightweight

The rear subframe collars that are on the vehicle

The rear brace my friend welded up for my *spraypainted bronze now*

The rear tail lights I bought for the car

Number removed, if you want to sell please use the classifieds.

For this:

Auto, 4lug, power options, decent enought looking Maaco *type* paintjob, with working A/C, front shocks blown tho *may be able to swoop good ones off a friend*

Guys suppose to come tomorrow to more than likely trade *he's driving like 120miles from San fran to Sac*

I can get everything for a 5spd from my friend besides a transmission for cheap, and I can deal with 4lug for a while. I'm keeping my subframe spacers. So only other big thing is needing to buy coils

What do you all think?

Tim

Up to you, Id rather drive and S13 coupe than an S14. If you really have been wanting an S14, do it. But you are trading an already swapped car for a stock Auto. No one is gonna be able to help you out advice wise.

Yeah my friend was saying its a bad deal, I think in my head I percieve the value of a s14 much higher than an s13...I'm gonna ask about cash on top on his part and keeping basically everything but coils and the silvia

I think the trade is bad. I am also warning you of the title, keep the racial stuff off here.

My mistake me and my friends just use the term jokingly but I see ppl can get offended, tho this is an open forum where ppl choose to join and can ignore things that bother them. Not that I'm saying people should be downright rude or disrespectful to others

Yeah I guess I have put alot of $ into the car and I won't really be getting a great return on my investment. Just my cars a ile and the s14 is clean. But spending another $1200 on cils and a 5spd swap would be pretty lame

"Jewing" is a derogatorily term referring to low balling to be stingy, but with a race of people in the example term that sets the example. Now what you believe or practice hell I dont care. But this is a community of vehicle enthusiast and racial references, especially negative ones will not be used here.

If this is a problem you would like to further discuss PM me and we can.

Go with the S14... It's overall much cleaner and well kept than the S13, and would suit your needs. Once you get coils and swap the auto for 5 speed, you will notice you made the right decision.

Tho The 5spd could cost me around $300 and coils around $700 used...kinda tough costs to have to incur to get back to where I am now considering I'vae already put the $ into my coupe.

well imo, i think i would spend the 1k that you would spend on the s14 and put it into fixing your s13. 1k and some tlc can go a LONG way and i think you will have alot pride in what you have done... than just a s14 on coils..

If I don't spray the car myself *paint it myself* then I could paint it for much less than that $1k spent on the s14. Tho, I worked out a deal so he's gonna come down tomorrow. I keep my strut bar, subframe collars, wheels, and wheel spacers. He pays $100 for my 350z seats, and gets the sideskirts, stance's, silvia front, and tail lights. I have a friend who has coils for me for $400 and all the 5spd parts needed *except for transmission* for $70. Then all I need to do is source a transmission and I'm G2G

I thinks thats pretty fair.

tsk tsk. an s13 coupe will always be sought after than an s14 coupe. you seem like you're tired of the s13 coupe. if I live close by I could trade you my s13 hatch beater with a clean body plus cash on top of that.

has five lugs, z brakes on front, and megan coils. s14 seats (which I hate in the s13), and vlsd

1st off my stance decimate ur Megans, 2nd I have a VLSD spare, have a 350z seat *kills s14* I have some j30/q45 brakes I can throw on if I wanted to upgrade, and I don't want a hatch, ur cash and 5 lug are the only appealing factors lol Why wouls an s13 coupe be more sought after than an s14??? Thats ur opinion or something u and your friends agree upon. just finding a stright body one again in the future if I want it may be difficult

Because they are, especially compared to S14 Zenki's. \

Does either coupe have sunroof?

I'd take the S14 in a heartbeat! They OWN s13's.

s13 coupes with no sunroof are the lightest and rigid of the bunch.
on the common sense side, this is a bad trade idea. if you already know what you're getting into why bother threading here.
you're trading your s13 coupe with swapped motor for an s14 with auto just because it has better paint. good luck.
no wonder the dude is driving 120 miles.

Neither has a sunroof, yeah I prefer Kouki fronts myself. But what are the chance someone with a kouki swapped front would trade for my car. I will want to get rid of the Zenki but I fear I may fall for the Zenki haha. I'll hop back on here later and ket ya'll know how it goes. Meeting up around 2pm

i don't see why people say it's a bad trade because your s13 has a swapped motor...
yea, he did a swap,
but for a kade.
it's not like he's taking a step back by getting an s14.

and the s14 being auto is almost a good thing.
autos are generally less abused than manuals imo.

i think it's fair if you keep the stuff you had listed.

nifares240,
he's trading for more than just "better paint".
he's trading for a better platform.

OP,
check out the best looking s14 threads.
falling for zenki's is not hard at all lol
but a kouki front end is hard to say no to.

GL with what you do

Took out the interior for a nice cleaning

Was pretty dirty

The paintjob is super crappy but from 20ft or when I'm out on the fulltack slidin who really cares, body is pretty rough but I know a guy who takes out dents...hope he can save me lightweight

KA is strong, interior is nice, motor will actually pass smog, wheels arn't suuuper ugly.

Some ridiculous wheels lock on 2 wheels are keeping my from putting my spacers on, I got a 5spd driveshaft, slave, master, and hardline yesterday. Should have a clutch pedal next week. I'm gonna wait to buy a transmission to complete the 5spd swap tho cuz I wanna save for coils, blown stock suspension literally blows  Plus I'd rather it look clean b4 theres a 5spd put in *drifting on the blown suspension would not be "the business" anyways

Installed subframe collars, and modified my Stealth Custom Fab strut bar a tad to bolt it into the 14, swapped my Kenwood in for the ancient Kenwood it came with. Once I decide on a name for him I'll make a build thread

My body on the coupe was in much better condition, a solid primer job on the coupe and it would have looked respectable. I'm not concerned tho I've wanted an S14 and am happy with the trade
