I recently bought an M35 for about a month now and my tpms doesn't seem to be working. I bought an 06 used with about 30k miles. The goodyears seem to reflect the mileage on the car so I don't think they've been replaced. My problem is, I do not get a pressure reading no matter how far or fast I go. But when I travel long distances, the low pressure light will sometimes light up in the dash. The valves are still there, is it possible the tpms are faulty?

Very faulty in my case. I have the previous body M, but same parts I'm guessing. I took my tpms out due to false readings which lead me to pulling over on road shoulders and frantically running around the car looking for a flat tire.

My above comments/rants do not help you, but consider purchasing new ones from the dealer or better yet.... demand new ones since you just purchased the car and make sure they enable them with that special tool.

Thanks, I'll see if I can get the dealer to replace them. Otherwise, I have the sport wheels coming soon to replace the 18s so I'll probably just go without them and check my pressure the old fashion way.
