OK first off most superchargers don't have as much lag as a turbo because of direct drive off the pulley, or at least that is my experience driving them. Second you can simply use different pulleys to spin your supercharger at higher revs in the case of most superchargers.
Drifter, quite frankly if you look at their stage 1 setup for most cars I highly doubt you are going to get a professionally installed SR to throw down 270 or 280 to the wheels without putting more than $4k into it, "professionally installed" is the key there, as RIPP's system would be on the guinea pig for design purposes not backyard garage installed. I know a SR will throw down more power in the long run, but not for $4k installed, That was my point to them so not dissin them or the company quite frankly. I personally look at what they have done with other cars in disbelief like a V6 stratus and can't wait to see what they do with a 240, and in the long run would prolly be a great investment for $4k but I am not willing to give up my car for a month and shell out that much loot. Now they want to do stage 2 for $4k and use me as a guinea pig I B DOWN in a sec LOL.
BUT once again as I put in my post to them getting us to pick a system that has yet to even be designed, much less tested, much less proven on a KA, MUCH LESS they want most design cars for a up to a month, and for all that they ask for 4k out of our pocket. Most companies would just go buy a car for testing or offer the system far cheaper than that considering from what I read most stage 1 setups are under $4k anyways from RIPP once designed. Not to mention getting the 240 owner over all those hurdles I just listed, when 90% of them would pick the SR anyways.
