While doing a test run, something seemingly gave way and the car's revs went way down and died. Now car won't turn over but i beleive its the starter making a winding noise at high speeds. Could someone tell me what in the **** is going on with my peice of ****.

sounds more like alternator...and starter. if your car doesnt start, try tapping the selenoid with a small pipe and have a friend try and turn it over. worked for me.-Chris

^what he said.

jump the battery and let it charge. let it run on its own, then remove the negative battery terminal connection, if it die, your in need of a new altenator.matt

Sounds like someone has an S13.

Your car is old enough now to need a alternator. I have a '93 and its just crapping out on me now. I call it luck.

If you replace it, do not get a advance auto or pep boys or auto zone alternator.

Only buy factory alternators from Nissan. The others will only last for about three months.
