Thanks for getten back to me, yeah am still intrested in buying the car, for me to seal this deal cos i dont want you to sell the car for any one else i will be paying you $2500 for the car. i will aswell call my client that is owing me alot to send the payment to you but it will be inform of a cashier check, so get back to me with your full name and address for the check to be written in your name. what you are to do after you would have recieve the check is to deduct your own fee for the car and send the diffrence to my reputable shipping company who will be coming for the pick up of the car in your location. i hope all this is very clear to you, so i will be waiting for the full details as soon as posible so that the payment can be written and send to you by my client. looking forward to read from you. thanks

i'm sorry I give you the specifics but IT IS A SCAM.I don't remember what they do but i've seen scams like this one before. If you have even the slightest doubt you shouldn't do it. 2500 is alot of money.

when i sold my last car i got an email VERY similar to that one. yes its a scam

what happens, is in the time it takes for THEIR check to you to clear, you will have sent the car and paid for their shipping (sometimes they even have you send a check for the difference, in essence, giving htem your car for free as well as paying them for it) then THEIR check dosent clear, but of course since you're legit, your check was ok, and they now have your car, shipped for free, possibly your money, and your manhood

dont go for it, in fact, report him to the police as soon as you can, a good idea is play along until u get his address, and then call the police on him

yea it's def a scam. a customer i know from work is computer cyber cop. he told me that people from other countries make counterfeit checks and send them and they get your title and info before you even know it's fake. don't sell your car to an outsider of the country.

my friends dad is a banker apparently this has happened quite a bit in the last few years and only now people are starting to catch on and think about wut they do

Yes this is a scam i actually had a check sent to me in the mail from France....i opened it up and it was a check from a federal credit union in TX. So then i called the credit union to verify the check and they told me that the check # was valid but the amount was wrong and it had already been cashed 3-4 months earlier. crazy stuff

btw:the check was for $4800

scam him right back. act interested and send him a package of garbo(in car sized box) and make him pay customs/importation tax. yeah, the customs version of calling collect. and tell customs its worth a whole lot so he has to pay a whole lot.
