possible new project vert and some questions

okay, so im going to soon have an extra ka24de motorset lying around that i dont want to sell since its in pretty good shape.

I drive past this place here in town that has a shinny red vert sitting in the same place for weeks.

So i finally go in and ask the guy if its for sale, and he's like "I have to wait for the title, but if i was to sell it, i'll take $500 for it since it has a knock"

I told him to call me if he does decide to sell it.

What do you guys think? The paint looked in pretty good condition for nissan red, the only thing is , is that the top looks kind of messed up from the back..

I tried searching here on nico to see how much the replacement tops are and where to get them, but i came up short.. Any of you vert guys know the hookups???

and is this a steal for a vert??
