Hell ya. That thing is hot! I would do some unspeakable things for that car. Unforgivable things.

I still retain my statement that Lambos are for posers that don't know a good Italian sports car when they see it.

In case I don't return in time, Shut up Bubba1 :)

Meh. I've always been a fan of the Lambo designs. They are just out there and kinda crazy. I'll take that special edition Gallardo that was RWD instead of AWD, in convertible form. THAT would be a fun car.

I'll take German engineering over Italian any day of the week...

Porsche 918 Concept

But TBH, I'll take classic style over future style, my ultimate dream car would be to have one of these monsters.

935 Turbo... in that exact color.

Yeah, unfortunately 935's aren't considered street legal, the 1980's 930 Slant nose however is, and they are essentially the exact same car minus the wide body and some of the engine tweaks, but those can be added. There's a guy who owns a shop down by my work that has a black one and I can't help but drool all over myself every time I see it when I go to deposit my pay check.

The 959 is a street legal Porsche, they had to be in order for them to meet FIA regulations at the time. In order for them to compete in FIA sanctioned events they had to sell no less than 200 production models. I would love to have one of those as well, but the 935 has always been my personal favorite. The 959 is awesome and was a technological and automotive masterpiece in it's time rivaled only by the F40.

The new 911 GT3 RS' are a personal favorite of mine as well, I just don't like the neon RS graphic and racing stripe that comes on them. Give me one of those without the neon marking and I'm all over it.

This is a nice exercise. I'd love to see if it can evade speed traps by flying undetected by radar!
I also thought it looked cool. could use a little more work though. really would like to see an end product if it's still based on this template.

it's a kind of a grey market car here similar to the Skyline's.

the new GT2 RS sounds like an unholy beast though.

sure, the 599 GTO is about twice as much, but if we're living in fantasy land, I'd still take the Italian.

I just got back too. :chuckle: Thanks, but I don't have an issue with your statement. Though I would exclude the Miura from the poser list.

no doubt.

that's a fine piece of typical Italian building.

It's even beautiful when nothing works on it.

I need an Italian car so I can know true emotions of a gear head.

What all Lancia models did we get here?

I'd import an Alfa Romeo Brera in a freaking heartbeat.

But an old Lancia would be sick.

Nothing outstanding IMHO. Beta's were their big sellers, which were unremarkable mostly FWD cars. Their best model, the Stratos, was never imported to the US.

Some of the older ones (Flavia, Fulvia) were on par with Alfa Romeo's of their day, entertaining to drive, not too expensive, but fragile and unreliable.

Ish like this will never go into production and come out looking the same.
They don't even allow pop-ups on cars anymore, I doubt they'd allow two large pointy triangles as fenders.

I like the look of that Ankonian. Looks pretty mean.
