OK so i changed 5 of the spark plugs the other day (actually the neighbor did) but couldn't get to the last plug due to its location and the engine being hot. so today I attempted to change it. got the boot off, I think i got the socket on the plug and turned following my brother in laws directions... i heard a pop. I stopped then, and he took over. he got the socket on the plug and turned just a fraction and said he wasn't going to do it and risk breaking the plug. so I out the boot back on and decided to let a mechanic risk breaking the plug. However, now i start her and she idles perfectly, put her in any gear besides P or N and it feels like a misfire. Like a jerk and a bump every 3-4 seconds. Did I break the plug??!

I'm going to assume you don't have the special plug removal tool that came with the Pathfinder?
I have an '02, so I don't have that problem, but the 2000 and earlier R50's need that special tool to get plug #6 out.
I believe it was stored under the back seat for those years.
Someone correct me if I'm wrong.Thx.
