Ive been doing my research on the M45 and have been reading the 07 has been 325 hp instead of the 06s 335 hp. Car and driver also in there comparison test said the 0-60 time on the 07 M45 sport is 6.0, but ive heard else where that its lower. Anyone have any concrete numbers on a stock m45 sport?

Just due to the re-test of the engine per the new standards. The engine is the same AFAIK - there is no actual reduction in "horsepower", I believe, just that the measuring protocol has changed.

Hmmm ... the new one measured in the Car and Driver review at 5.9 seconds. Once the engine is broken in, it should do half a second better probably, I'd say. I have seen other tests that show it lower, but do not recall where exactly ... I will look.

Here is some good data: zerothread/206945 from tests done by a member here on his 2006 - before and after an exhaust mod! Cool!

And, here is a review of the 2006 M45 Sport showing 5.6 seconds: http://www.caranddriver.com/ro....html.

The 2007 ought to be similar since it really has not changed (the engine power reduction is a test method change, not a mod to the engine).

I have not yet fund any other tests on the 2007 model.
