Possible KA purchase but commpression question

Hey guys. Im planning on purchasing another KA to start my KAT project. But the seller was telling me that his compression numbers before it was pulled were roughly 175-150. But now that the engine has been sitting for a few months his compression #'s were 175 / 30-60 / 175 / 30-60.

I could understand how some compression would be lost but that much? These are not leakdown numbers either, these are compression numbers because he connected the battery to the starter.

He says nothing is wrong with the engine. just regular wear and tear. it has 138k on it. Just wanna make sure with you guys if everything is good. I mean my engine has 213k miles and it still has 180+-5 compression all around.

find out what the cause of the low compression in #4 is from, then base your decision off of that.since it will be your project engine, youll end up rebuilding it with possibly new internals(rods,pistons,rings,bearings,etc).. so if it is cheap go for it.
